SEBON takes sharemarket related awareness and interaction event to Karnali province; 85 journalists gathered in Surkhet to interact and learn about several facets of Nepalese sharemarket

Securities Board of Nepal has conducted the training program for the journalists of Karnali province at provincial capital Surkhet where 85 journalists received training on various facets of stock market on Jestha 10, 2076.

The event was also attended by chairman of the board Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Provincial Minister for Finance and Development Mr. Prakash Jwala, GM of Nepal Stock Exchange Mr. Chandra Singh Saud, secretary of Federation of Journalist Karnali Chapter Mr. Pabitra Kumar Shakya, among others.

The workshop was facilitated by senior Business Reporter Mr. Lok Bahadur Chapagai including the board’s chairman Mr. Karki who presented papers on various topics including the code of ethics of business and financial reporters.

All the local participants praised the board’s initiative to take stock market related interactional and training event with such a scale to province II for the very first time.
