SEBON Receives Green Light To Resume Broker License Distribution Process

The Finance Committee has given the go-ahead for the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to resume the distribution process of new broker licenses.

During a Finance Committee meeting with the stakeholders held on Tuesday, instructions were provided to SEBON to resume the license distribution process. This decision comes after the Finance Committee had earlier imposed a temporary and indefinite ban on all ongoing licensing procedures for new brokerage licenses on Jestha 29, 2080.

All members of the committee were in unanimous agree that the license process should be reopened.
