SEBON intructs CDSC to report back within 7 days on 5 topics; Issues include settlement guarantee fund, weighted average cost calculation and so on

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has instructed CDS and Clearing to report back within 7 days on implementation and progress report of various topics as stated below:

-Regarding integration of NOTS with merchant banks providing services such as settlement bank, CDSL and DMAT to decrease the settlement time from T+3 to T+1.

-Regarding the effective implementation of Settlement Guarantee Fund

-Regarding criteria to be included for System Audit

-Regarding the progress on directive provided by Board to simplify the procedure to find the weighted average cost of shares.

-Regarding the preparation of supervision manual
