SEBON Expands List of Qualified Institutional Investors with Approval for Four Additional Companies

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has recently granted approval to four more companies to operate as qualified institutional investors.

The newly approved companies include NMB Sulav Investment Fund - II (NSIF2), Lagat Investment, Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), and Two North Associates Private Limited.

With this recent development, the total number of eligible institutional investors has reached 135.

SEBON has been systematically approving companies at different stages, and these four companies received their approvals on Baisakh 10.

Previously, on 2079/07/08 SEBON had approved seven companies as institutional investors including Kumari Capital Limited, Golyan Tower Private Limited, Manokanama Investment Business Company Private Limited, SR Hydro and Investment Private Limited, Chartered Capital and Investment Limited, Surya Life Insurance Co. Limited and iCapital Private Limited, which had taken the total number of qualified investors to 131.
