SEBON completes celebration of Global Money Week campaign; organized week-long public awareness campaign for growth of equity and commodity market in Nepal
Securities Exchange Board of Nepal has completed the celebration of Global Money Week 2022 which began from March 21 to 28, 2022.
As per the schedule, the following events took place across the week:
Chaitra 7: SEBON, Nepal Rastra Bank, Cooperative Department, and Beema Samiti jointly organized an event on the topic of Financial Services and their importance
Chaitra 8 publication and distribution of pamphlet and leaflet on several important aspects of equity market
Chaitra 9: investors’ awareness program at Pokhara, Biratnagar, and Butwal
Chaitra 10: interaction event at Dhangadi
Chaitra 11: awareness event about mutual funds and credit rating agencies
Chaitra 12: radio and television program on different facets of stock and equity market
Chaitra 13: publication and dissemination of research findings on stock and commodity market and walkathon program
The board hopes to promote further enhancement of the equity market of the nation by educating more young and educated masses to participate in the equity market, as per the media statement.
