SEBON Adds IPO Proposal of Orbit Energy Limited To Its Pipeline

The IPO proposal of Orbit Energy Limited is in SEBON's pipeline.

The company has submitted a proposal to the capital market regulator to issue a total of 5,000,000 shares. This will raise Rs. 50 crores for the company. The application was submitted on Baisakh 22, 2082.

Kumari Capital Limited has been appointed the issue manager for the public offering.

CARE Ratings Nepal Limited (CRNL) has assigned an issuer rating of CARE-NP BB (Is) to Orbit Energy Limited (OEL), indicating a moderate risk of default in timely financial obligations. Additionally, CRNL has upgraded the rating of OEL’s long-term bank facilities from CARE-NP BB- to CARE-NP BB.

Orbit Energy Limited (OEL), originally incorporated as Pokhari Hydropower Company Private Limited in 2009, was renamed in 2017 and converted to a public limited company in January 2024. OEL is developing two run-of-river hydropower projects Sabha Khola-B (21.5MW) and Sabha Khola-C (6.3MW) in Sankhuwasabha district under the BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) model.
