SEBON adds "10.25% BOK Debenture 2086" to it pipeline; Debentures worth Rs 1.6 arba being issued

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has added "10.25% BOK Debenture 2086" into its pipeline.

Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL) is issuing a total of 16 lakh units debentures at par of Rs 1000 raising Rs 1.6 arba in total. The debentures will yield 10.25% per year for a period of 10 years. Out of the total offered units, 6.4 lakh units have been separated for the general public and mutual funds while the remaining 9.6 lakh units have been separated for private placement.

Nabil Investment Banking is the issue manager of this debenture issuance.

ICRA Nepal has assigned [ICRANP] LBBB+ (pronounced ICRA NP L triple B plus) to the proposed NPR 1,600 million subordinated bond program of the Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOK). Instruments with this rating are considered to have a moderate degree of safety regarding the timely servicing of financial obligations. Such instruments carry moderate credit risk. ICRA Nepal has also reaffirmed the existing rating of [ICRANP] LBBB+ for the NPR 600 million subordinated bond program of BOK.
