Scheduled Power Outage in Teku Substation Area on 6th Shrawan

Electricity supplied from Teku substation of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is going to be shut down for 8 hours on 6th Shrawan. The Authority has issued a notification today and informed that the electricity supply will be stopped from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Shrawan 6th.
As per the notice, electricity supply will be stopped in the following areas under different feeders:
1. Bagmati Feeder: Sanepa Ram Mandir, Gusingal, Advance College, Amravati Sanepa Mod, Radiant School area.
2. Pulchok Feeder: Balkhu, Healthpost, Jhamsikhel, Pulchok Pradhansenapati Niwas, Thadodhunga area, Gyan Tirtha Marg, Kalimati Salik Chowk, Chhauni, Dallu, Bijeshwari, Swayambhu, Chamti, Kimdol, and Barud Khana areas.
3. Kirtipur Feeder: Some parts of Balkhu, Khasibazar, Tribhuvan University, Chobhar, Toudaha, and Tanglaphant.
5. Tripureshwar Feeder: Teku to Pachli Bhairav, Sukumbasi Basti via Industrial and Commercial Union, World Trade Center, and Tripureshwor Chowk, Asha Hospital, Stadium, Norvic Hospital, Prasuti Griha to Babarmahal, Sanepa, Kupandol Himalaya Hotel, Ministry of Local Development, and Pulchok.
6. Bhaisipati Feeder: Mahato Marg, Bhaisipati Awas, Bhaisipati Chowk, Ekal Danda, and Chhetrapati under the Bishnumati River bank, Pushpalal Park, Dhalku Chowk to Chhetrapati.
The NEA has stated that it will make efforts to ensure regular electricity supply to all feeders to minimize the impact of the scheduled power outage on alternative arrangements.
