SCBNL opens day care center for staff

KATHMANDU, JUNE 21:

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has opened a Day Care Centre at the premises of its head offices in New Baneshwar for its employees with young children. In a statement Sunday, SCBNL said the center was jointly inaugurated by Maiti Nepal Founder Director Anuradha Koirala and Executive Director of the government’s Social Security Fund Kewal Prasad Bhandari. Speaking on the occasion, Koirala praised the efforts made by SCBNL for leading the way to address issues relating to working parents. Bhandari also lauded the initiative taken by the bank This initiative allows parents with young children working at the bank to closely look after their young children in a safe environment as per their convenience and requirement, SCBNL said.
