SCB regional chief exec in town

KATHMANDU:

Sunil Kaushal, chairman of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Nepal board and regional chief executive of the bank for India and South Asia, is commencing his Nepal visit from Monday. Kaushal arrives from Mumbai where the bank’s regional headquarter is located. During his three-day visit, Kaushal is scheduled to meet high level government officials at the Ministry of Finance and the governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. Similarly, he will also attend client functions and address a town hall of SCB Nepal staff. Kaushal had taken over the responsibility of regional chief executive of India and South Asia in December 2011.
