Sarbottam Cement Limited Successfully Conducted 5th AGM

Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM), part of Nepal's Saurabh Group, held its fifth annual general meeting at Hotel Siddhartha Vilasa in Bhairawa.

During the meeting, the company's financial statements for the year ending in Ashadh 2080 were approved, along with the appointment of an auditor for the next fiscal year and the setting of his remuneration. The meeting approved a 15% cash dividend on its paid-up capital. 

At the recent assembly of Sarbottam Cement Limited, five directors were appointed from the promoter shareholders, including Mr. Bishnu Prasad Neupane, Mr. Bimal Kumar Sawarthia, Mr. Tikaram Neupane, Mr. Tenzing Lakden Tamang, and Mr. Utsab Neupane. Shiva Singh Karki was appointed to represent the general public, and Mrs. Neha Agrawal was named as an Independent Director.

CEO Santosh K.C. acknowledged the support of various stakeholders and reiterated the company’s commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards. Sarbottam Cement, boasting state-of-the-art European V.R.M. technology, is the first in Nepal to use such advanced methods in cement production.

The company produces and sells 43 and 53-grade cement and has expanded its market to India. It also acquired Manasa Cement Industries Pvt. Ltd. in Jhapa Bhadrapur, increasing its daily capacity and beginning trial production.
