Sanskriti International School, a leader in progressive education in Nepal, has celebrated their 10th year anniversary

Sanskriti International School, a leader in progressive education in Nepal, has celebrated their 10th year anniversary this past week. Sanskriti International School was established in the year 2010 with a vision to provide a happy, caring, and stimulating learning environment, where learners can achieve their full potential by embracing respect and international mindedness to contribute to the ever changing world.

On the occasion of their 10th Year Anniversary, under their ‘Community Support Program’, Sanskriti International School donated NRs. 100,000 to Shree Janasudhar Basic School in Kimdole to build their school hall. The gift cheque was presented to Ms. Sita Poudel, Principal of Shree Janasudhar Basic School by Respected Chief Guest AnuradhaKoirala and Ambica Shrestha.


With the objective of involving and engaging the learners in community service activities, and to teach the learners to give back to society, the school also hosted a Ms. Sanskriti and Mr. Sanskriti event, where the winning criteria was for students to prepare a community service project plan. The participating students gave a presentation on their idea of social work. Additional judging rounds comprised of a talent show, selection interview, group project work, and judge’s question and answer round, where the students showcased their creativity, presentation skills, talent, and group collaboration. The winner of the Ms. Sanskriti and Mr. Sanskriti event are ShreeyaBhattarai&BardanDhakalrespectively. The winning prize was seed money of NRs. 20,000 each, to start their individual community project. Similarly, the 1st runner-ups of this project Ms. Shruti Chhetri and Mr. Aagaman Bajracharya  were awarded with NRs. 10,000 each, and 2nd runner-ups Ms. Annie Shrestha and Mr. Aashrya Piya were awarded NRs. 5000 each.

Reminiscing on the decade long journey, Mr. Ranjit Acharya, Chairperson of Sanskriti International School shared, ”I express my gratitude to the entire team, teaching and non-teaching staff, and to all those who have helped directly and indirectly to give Sanskriti the recognition it has achieved today. Without their continuous support it wouldn't have been possible for us to envision the larger goal of improving and nurturing learning”.

Last year Sanskriti International School was awarded with a prestigious International Primary Curriculum Accreditation, and has become the first international school to get accredited in South Asia by Fieldwork Education, UK.
