Sanima Mai Hydropower reports 15% fall in net profit for Q4 of 2075/76; Company's revenue from electricity sales falls from Rs 78.96 crore to Rs 72.41 crore

Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) has posted fall in its net profit by 15.44 percent in the fourth of the FY 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has decreased to Rs 23.46 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 27.75 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.

It has made regular income from power sales of Rs 72.41 crore by the end of the fourth quarter falling from Rs 78.96 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Its retained earnings amounts to Rs 46.88 crore till the fourth quarter. Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 2.32 arba.

The hydropower company has Rs 14 crore investments in associates companies and Rs 73.32 crore as advance for investment i.e. Swet Ganga Hydropower, Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower, Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Hydropower and Bavari Construction P Limited. Sanima Mai Hydropower has committed to invest Rs 1.08 arba in these four hydropower companies.

Its EPS stands at Rs 10.11 and net worth per share is at Rs 123.
