Sanima Mai Hydropower earns Rs 47.47 crore from sale of electricity in Q2; committed to invest Rs 1.08 arba in 4 hydro projects

Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) has posted increment in its net profit by 5.03% percent in the second quarter of the FY 2075/76.
According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has increased to Rs 22.96 crore in the second quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 21.86 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.
It has made regular income from power sales of Rs 47.47 crore by the end of the second quarter rising from Rs 45.73 crore in the corresponding quarter.
Its retained earnings amount to Rs 46.38 crore in the second quarter. Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 2.32 arba.
The hydropower company has Rs 14 crore investments in associates companies i.e. Swet Ganga Hydropower, Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower, Mathillo Mailun Khola Jalvidhyut Hydropower and Bavari Construction P Limited. Sanima Mai Hydropower has committed to invest Rs 1.08 arba in these four hydropower companies.
Its annualized EPS for the second quarter stands at Rs 19.79 and net worth per share is at Rs 122.99.
Its stock is traded at PE of 11.97 times. SHPC has already offered 10% bonus and 5% cash dividend to its shareholders for FY 2074/75.
