Sanima, Hewa tie-up

KATHMANDU, SEP 3:
Sanima Bank has entered into an agreement with 14.9 MW Hewa Khola ‘A’ Hydropower Company to invest Rs 1.67 billion. The Fidim-based project is estimated to cost Rs 2.16 billion, where a consortium of 11 banks — Nepal Bank Ltd, Nepal Investment Bank, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, Commerz and Trust Bank Nepal, Nepal SBI Bank, NB Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, Civil Bank, Ace Development Bank and NDEP Development Bank — will invest 75 per cent of the total cost. It is scheduled to be completed in three years.
