Sanima Bank reports huge net profit rise of 52 % in Q3

Sanima Bank Limited has reported a net profit rise of  52 percent in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2070/71.

Publishing the unaudited quarterly report for the third quarter today, the commercial bank has stated that it has registered a net profit of Rs 32.08 crore in the third quarter, up from Rs 21.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.

The profit is attributable to its core business as its net interest income surged from Rs 46.54 crore in the third quarter of the last fiscal year to Rs 57.91.

The commercial bank, which has been steadily growing in the current fiscal year, had reported 48.8 percent net profit rise in the second quarter as compared to the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2069/70.

Sanima Bank mobilized Rs 20.36 arba in deposit and Rs 18.25 arba in loan in the third quarter as compared to Rs 16.17 arba in deposit and Rs 14.20 arba in the corresponding quarter last year.

The bank’s non-performing loan has further decreased to 0.05, down from 0.06 in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

It may be noted that its NPL had stood at 0.10 by the end of the second quarter.

Sanima’s EPS has risen to Rs 19.41, up from Rs 14.08 in the corresponding quarter and its net worth per share now stands at 123.78, up from Rs 116.13 in the corresponding quarter last year.
