Sanima Bank reports a sturdy 48.8% profit rise in Q2 owing to good business

Sanima Bank Limited has reported a profit rise of 48.88 percent in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2070/71.

Publishing the unaudited quarterly report for the second quarter today, the commercial bank has stated that it has registered a net profit of Rs 19.43 crore in the second quarter, up from Rs 13.05 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.

The profit is attributable to its core business as its net interest income has surged from Rs 36.27 crore up from Rs 29.60 in the second quarter last fiscal year.

Sanima Bank also mobilized Rs 99.88 arba in deposit and Rs 17.17 arba in loan as compared to Rs 14.47 arba in deposit and Rs 12.99 arba in the corresponding quarter last year.

The bank’s non-performing loan has also decreased to 0.10, down from 0.19 in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

It’s EPS stands at Rs 17.48, up from Rs 12.98 in the corresponding quarter and its net worth per share stands at 118.7, up from Rs 112.11 in the corresponding quarter last year.
