Sanima Bank Limited's Dividend Rate Increase; How Much in Bonus Shares?

Sanima Bank Limited's (SANIMA) dividend rate has increased. The bank has proposed a 14.7 percent dividend for the recently concluded financial year 2079-80. Investors of the bank had received a dividend of 10.98 percent for the previous FY 2078-79. 

The bank is also going to increase its capital through dividends. Nine percent of the proposed dividend is in the form of bonus shares. The bank's board of directors has decided to distribute the remaining 5.7 percent in cash.

Currently, the paid-up capital of the bank is 12.46 Arba rupees. The addition of 9 percent bonus shares will increase the paid-up capital by 1.12 Arba rupees. The distribution of the dividend to the shareholders is subject to the approval of the regulatory body, the Nepal Rastra Bank, and endorsement at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company.
