Sanima Bank extends financial support of Rs 6 lakh to Kalikaa Ma.Vi of Pokhara; aims to maintain student attendance via mid-day school lunch program

Sanima Bank, through its Amar Singh branch, has handed over financial support of Rs 6 lakh to Kalika Ma.Vi. of Pokhara in order to continue its mid-day school lunch program. The support amount was handed over by Gandaki province head of the bank Mr. Bhabuk Tandukar to the school Head Teacher Mr. Balram Giri amid a program on Children’s’ Day.

Mr. Bashudev Adhikari, the coordinator of the mid-day lunch program informed in the same event that the attendance of students in the school has improved steadily due to the lunch program.

The bank has long been serving the public education sector of Nepal through several of funding initiatives, scholarship programs from its branches and by regularly supporting Teach for Nepal to ensure quality public sector education in Nepal.

The bank currently has 79 branches, 1 extension counter and 75 ATM terminal in all 7 provinces of the nation.
