Sanigad Hydro Revises IPO Schedule for General Public

Sanigad Hydro Limited has revised the opening and closing dates of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public through a newly published issue notice. According to the updated schedule, the company will now open the sale of 46,74,000 unit shares to the general public from 18th Jestha 2083, while the issue will close on 21st Jestha 2083.
Earlier, the company had announced that the IPO would open on 14th Jestha 2083 with an early closing date set for 20th Jestha 2083. The revised notice has postponed both the opening and closing dates of the public issue.
The company is issuing shares at a par value of Rs. 100 per unit. If the issue is not fully subscribed within the revised closing period, the deadline may be extended as per regulatory provisions.
Sanigad Hydro’s issued capital stands at Rs. 2.85 Arba, of which 30 percent, equivalent to 85,50,000 unit shares, has been allocated for public issuance. Out of the total public offering, 28,50,000 unit shares worth Rs. 28.50 Crores had already been issued to project-affected locals of Bajhang District.
The remaining 57,00,000 unit shares are allocated for the general public category. Out of this, 5,70,000 unit shares were reserved for Nepali citizens working abroad. Likewise, 1,71,000 unit shares have been set aside for employees of the company, while 2,85,000 unit shares are reserved for mutual funds. The remaining 46,74,000 unit shares will now be available for the general public from the revised issue date.
LS Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 20,000 units.
Meanwhile, ICRA Nepal has upgraded the issuer rating of Sanigad Hydro Limited to [ICRANP-IR] BB- from [ICRANP-IR] B+, indicating a moderate risk of default in timely servicing of financial obligations.
Sanigad Hydro Limited was established in December 2007 as a private company and was later converted into a public limited company in July 2021. The company currently operates the 38.46 MW Upper Kalanga Gad Hydroelectric Project in Bajhang district of Sudurpaschim Province.
