Samsung Galaxy S3 to arrive in July

KATHMANDU, May 17:
If you are eagerly waiting to buy Samsung Galaxy S3, your wait is ending soon. International Marketing Service (IMS) - the sole authorized distributor of Samsung mobiles in Nepal - is planning to introduce the phone in the Nepali market in the first week of July.
The South Korean electronics giant will begin shipping the iconic handset in the international markets by May-end.
According to Puskal Khatiwada, marketing manager of IMS, the phone will cost between Rs 67,000 and Rs 68,000 and will be available in marble white and pebble blue colors.
Samsung Galaxy S3 features a classy sleek 8.55mm light weight body and it weighs about 133gm. It has impressive 4.8 inch Super AMOLED capacitive multi-touch HD display and 1.4GHz Exynos quad core processor which runs on Icecream Sandwich OS Android 4.0.4. It has 8 MP rear camera and 1.9 MP front camera that offers users a mesmerizing camera experience with features such as burst shot, best photo, buddy photo, face zoom, face slideshow, facial recognition and minimal lag among others, according to IMS.
"The Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with 32 GB memory and Samsung will offer 50GB cloud storage in partnership with Dropbox,” said Khatiwada.
The phone has wireless charging kit so that users do not have to carry long wires to charge. It has various connectivity options like 3G and 4G HSDPA, HSUPA, Edge, Wi-Fi, GSM, GPS and GPRS, Bluetooth and the NFC. NFC is the technology that allows users to share content such as video, photos, music or contacts by tapping phones together, according to Khatiwada.
"Samsung Galaxy S3 has some mind blowing features such as SmartStay that keeps the display from timing out by tracking user´s eyes through the front camera,” Khatiwada said, adding, “Also, one does not have to press any button on key pad to receive the call. They just have to take the phone near the ear to receive the call.”
Similarly, S Voice - the other smart feature in Samsung Galaxy3 - dial the number as per the voice command of the users. It will auto-dial a contact if the users have their contact details or a message open.
Smart Alert, Social Tag, S Beam, All Share Cast, Pop up Play, Face Unlock and Eye Tracking are the other features in the new phone.
"We are planning to sell 200 units of Galaxy S3 in the first two month of its launch,” Khatiwada said, “We are already receiving lots of enquiry for the phone.”
