Samata Microfinance posts outstanding 250% profit growth by the end of fourth quarter; EPS increases to Rs.42.32

Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has published unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter today. It has stated that net profit has increased by almost 250% to Rs 2.57 crore in fourth quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 73.85 lakh reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.
Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 1.30 arba in the review period. It has collected deposits of Rs 49.59 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. It has paid up capital of Rs 6.06 crore with reserve of Rs 8.42 crore in Q4 of FY 2075/76.
Its net interest income has increased from Rs 3.95 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 7.07 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2075/76. Its operating profit has increased to Rs 3.26 crore in Q4, from Rs 52.69 lakh in corresponding quarter.
The annualized Earnings per Share (EPS) stand at Rs 42.32. SMATA’s non-performing loan (NPL) has increased to 0.98 percent in the fourth quarter. Currently, net worth per share stands at Rs 238.87.
