Samata Laghubitta and Gharelu Laghubitta to merger; Trading of Samata Laghubitta halted at NEPSE

Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) and Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha have decided to merge the institutions. The two companies signed the initial agreement to merge.

As a result, Samata Laghubitta trading has been suspended in Nepal Stock Exchange from Ashad 1, 2077.

Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited is a regional level microfinance company serving in 10 district whereas Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha is a national level microfinance company and yet to issue public share.

The existing capital of Samata Laghubitta is Rs 19.11 crore whereas Gharelu Laghubitta paid up capital stands at Rs 7.03 crore.
