Samata Gharelu Laghubitta (SMATA) Proposes 18% Dividend Worth Rs 6.16 Crores for FY 2078/79

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has proposed an 18% dividend worth Rs. 6.16 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79.
The 138th meeting of the board of directors held on Magh 20 has decided to distribute an 18% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. 15% bonus shares and a 3% cash dividend have been proposed from the paid-up capital of Rs. 34.27 Crores. Thus, the bonus shares are worth slightly over Rs. 5.14 crore and the cash dividends are worth Rs 1.02 crore.
Note that this dividend will be distributed only after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
The ordinary shares of the company closed at Rs. 800 last Thursday.
