ShareSansar, September 17:

Two more BFIs have publicized impressive dividend today.

Sahayogi Bikas Bank Limited has proposed 26 percent bonus share and 10 percent cash dividend to its share holders for the last fiscal year 2070/71.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the development bank based in Janakpurdham had decided to declare the dividend yesterday.

The dividend pledged by Sahayogi is better than 26 percent bonus share and 8.5 percent cash dividend it pledged for the previous fiscal year 2069/70.

Sahayogi had reported impressive growth in the last fiscal year as its net profit rose to Rs 6.93 crore up from Rs 4.86 crore of the previous fiscal year.

Similarly, Narayani National Finance Limited has offered 5 percent bonus share and 20 percent cash dividend to its shareholders for the last fiscal year.

The BoD of the finance company based in Kathmandu also pledged the dividend yesterday.

Narayani’s net profit had surged from Rs 12.26 crore in the previous fiscal year to Rs 18.52 crore as of the last fiscal year.

The dividend pledged by Narayani this time around is far better than 12.63 percent cash dividend it had offered from the net profit it posted in the previous fiscal year.

It may, however, be noted that the dividends declared by both these BFIs are subject to the approval of the central bank and their upcoming Annual General Meetings.
