Sahara Bikas Bank Limited (SHBL) Proposes 5.32% Dividend; How Much in Bonus Shares?

Sahara Bikas Bank Limited (SHBL) has proposed a 5.32% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77.

182th BOD meeting of the company held yesterday, i.e. Ashad 22 has proposed a 5.05% bonus share worth Rs 1.37 crore and 0.27% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth Rs 7.23 lakhs to the shareholders. The existing paid-up capital of the company is Rs 27.22 crore and the proposed bonus shares will take the company's paid-up capital to Rs. 28.60 crores. The proposed dividend is from retained earnings of FY 2074/75, 2075/76, and 2076/77.

The proposal is subject to the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and the company's upcoming AGM. 

Sahara Bikas Bank Limited is in the acquisition process with Garima Bikas Bank. 

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Garima Bikas Bank, headquartered in Kathmandu, and Sahara Bikas Bank, headquartered in Siraha district, on Ashwin 16.
