Sagarmatha Insurance to revolutionize non-life insurance business in Nepal; launches “Insurance Digitally” mobile app to facilitate mobile based insurance premium payment

Sagarmatha Insurance has started digital insurance premium payment service for the first time in Nepal with its Insurance Digitally service launched on Baisakh 11, 2076.

With an aim to promote easy and convenient payment of insurance premium from the mobile devices from any internet available locations. The non-life insurance company has made arrangement for the online payment of premium for third party motorcycle insurance, home insurance, accident insurance, and medi-claim insurance

The service was jointly launched by chairman of Insurance Board Mr. Chiranjibi Chapagain and chairman of the company Mr. R.K. Manandhar among others.

The company aims to increase the access of insurance among the rural population by launching the digital insurance service through its mobile app, as per the media statement.
