Sadhana Laghubitta (SDLBSL) revises Dividend; NRB grants approval to only distribute 18% Bonus shares

In accordance with Nepal Rastra Bank's instruction, Sadhana Laghubitta has revised the dividend proposal for FY 2076/77.

Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SDLBSL) had proposed a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The 82nd meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 28 decided to distribute 19% bonus shares and 1% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. Since the paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 21,77,80,000, the bonus shares amount to Rs. 4,13,78,200 and the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 21,77,800.

However. after reviewing the financial statements of the company, NRB has granted permission to only distribute 18% bonus shares and Rs. 20,63,178.95 cash dividend.

Nonetheless, this is the company's first dividend after it went public. Note that this dividend will be distributed only after endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.

The company's profit has increased by 151.16% to Rs 4.02 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77 from Rs 1.60 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2075/76. The rise in net profit is due to a rise in core business activities.
