Ruling Coalition to Reveal Common Minimum Program Drafted by 10-Member Task Force

The ruling coalition is set to unveil its Common Minimum Program (CMP) today, marking a significant step in its governance agenda. Crafted by a 10-member task force comprising representatives from the five ruling parties, the CMP outlines key priorities and objectives for the coalition's collective governance approach.
The draft CMP was presented to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leaders from coalition parties on Saturday, initiating discussions at the highest levels of governance. Task force coordinator and CPN-UML Vice Chairman, Bishnu Paudel, highlighted several focal points of the CMP, including the implementation and defense of the constitution, promoting economic development and prosperity, addressing urgent economic challenges, and instilling hope and confidence among citizens.
The task force comprised members from various political parties, including Bishnu Paudel and Bishnu Rimal from UML, Barsaman Pun and Janardan Sharma from the Maoist Center, Dr. Swarnim Wagle and Mukul Dhakal from Rastriya Swatantra Party, Pramesh Hamal and Ghanashyam Bhusal from the Unified Socialist Party, and Rajendra Shrestha and Manish Suman from Janata Samajwadi Party.
