RMDC Organizes Training on Credit Appraisal

RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Santha Ltd. , branch office, Itahari has conducted 3 days Loan appraisal Training at Gokarna Resort and Party Palace Pvt. Ltd. Morang from Magh 24 to 26, 2075. There were 32 participants from 32 partner cooperatives from 13 working districts of RMDC, Itahari branch. Participants include loan manager and loan sub-committee coordinator. The program was facilitated and coordinated by Mr. Govinda Prasad Poudel, Branch Manager of Itahari Branch. He welcome all participates and mentioned about the objectives and important of this loan appraisal Training.

The trainers of the program were Mr. Bhola Nath Regmi , Manager, Credit Management Department of  of RMDC head office and  Mr. Govinda Prasad Poudel, Branch Manager of Itahari Banch. The trainers highlighted that the main income of any financial institution is interest income from loan investment. Therefore cooperative organizations should maintain its quality of loan portfolio. During this Three days training, trainers Mr. Regmi and Mr. Poudel discussed about the principle lending, 5 approaches of loan appraisal, effects of overdue and its management, loan appraisal form, quality of loan, financial indicators, duties  of cooperative committee and cash flow of loan demanding member . There was field visit to members as practical of cash flow analysis of loan demanding members. At the end of training, participants shared that the training was very useful and committed to utilize their knowledge in official works and share other colleagues.  The branch manager of Itahari thanked to all participants for their active participation in the training.
