RigoHR Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification

RigoHR, a Kathmandu-based human resource management software provider, has received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its information security management system, becoming the only HRMS company in Nepal to hold the certification, according to the company.

The certification follows an independent audit of its information security practices and verifies that the company meets internationally recognized standards for protecting sensitive business and employee data.

RigoHR Vice President of Technology Shankar Pokharel said the certification assures customers that the payroll, tax, and employee records handled by the company are managed under internationally verified security standards.

The company provides an integrated platform for payroll processing, attendance tracking, leave management, tax and CIT calculations, performance management, and employee reporting. Its software serves more than 500 enterprises and over 200,000 employees across Nepal, processing more than Rs. 1 billion in payroll each month.

RigoHR is also pursuing SOC 2 Type II compliance and is currently in the assessment observation period. The process is intended to provide independent verification of how its security controls operate over time.

Developed by Kathmandu-based Rigo Technologies, RigoHR has been providing HR and payroll software since 2010 to businesses across sectors, including banking, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, and financial services.
