Ridi Hydropower and Chhyangdi Hydropower post net profit of Rs. 87.17 lakhs and Rs. 1.02 crore in Q2; EPS of both hydropower remains in single digit

Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) has stated a decline in net profit by 4.06% in the second quarter (Q2) of the FY 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax reached Rs 87.17 lakh in the Q2 of FY 2075/76 from Rs 90.86 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

RHPC made the regular income of Rs 1.33 crore by the end of the second quarter from Rs 1.43 crore in the corresponding quarter. It has also made Rs 16,712 from other income in the Q2 of FY 2075/76.

Its paid-up capital stands at Rs 53.11  crore with the reserve of Rs 1.97 crore.

Its annualized EPS stands at Rs 6.57 and net worth per share is at Rs 103.71 and P/E ratio at 14.61 times.

Q2 report

Chhyangdi Hydropower Limited (CHL) has reported a 33.03% rise in profit in the second quarter of the FY 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit amounts to Rs 1.02 crore which was Rs 76.68 lakh in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75.

It earned Rs 3.22 crore as income from electricity sales to NEA, that amounted Rs. 3.30 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Its share capital remains at Rs 27 crore. The reserve fund of the company has increased to Rs 1.71 crore in the second quarter, which has increased from the corresponding quarter’s of Rs 79.83 lakh.

Its earning per share stands at Rs 3.78 and net worth per share is Rs 106.37 with a PE ratio of 26.73 times.
