Retired NRB Executive Director and former Nepal Bank CEO Shrestha appointed the CEO of Nagarik Stock Dealer

Maheshwar Lal Shrestha has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nagarik Stock Dealer Company Ltd.

Santosh Raj Nepal, Bishal Agrawal, Maheshwar Lal Shrestha, and Indra Kattel had submitted their candidacy for the post. The CEO selection sub-committee formed under the coordination of Shankar Kumar Rayamajhi had shortlisted Maheshwar Lal Shrestha and Santosh Raj Nepal from among the four applicants. The interview of the shortlisted candidates was scheduled on Ashoj 17.

The CEO is selected from the candidates based on their educational qualifications, age, and experience. Maheshwar Lal Shrestha is a retired Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank. Chartered Accountant Shrestha headed the Bank Supervision Department at NRB. He was also appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Bank Limited.
