Research paper writing competition organized in collaboration of University Students Alumni group and Sharesansar announces the winner; Rohan Byanjankar bags the first position

The University Students Alumni Group, an informal group of academic professionals working to form a registered platform to unite current and graduated students from all universities in Nepal, had organized a Research Paper Writing competition in partnership with Sharesansar.com. The competition was formally concluded today at the premises of Sharesansar with the announcement of the winner.

The winner of the competition is Mr. Rohan Byanjankar, currently studying MA. Economics at Tribhuvan University, had completed his research on Prospects and challenges of recent taxation practice by the local government of Nepal. Upon receiving the award Mr Byanjankar says, "The new taxation that has been levied upon the people of Nepal is not reasonable and has the highest GDP to Tax ratio in all of Asia. The said ratio of India stands at 17%, whereas ours stands at 24%." He emphasized that he has also pointed out recommendation for the local government to rectify the situation. The winning paper will be published on Sharesansar.com after a couple of days.
