Remittance from India now easier and quicker through 3500 strong branch network of Axis Bank; Janata Bank makes arrangement through Janata Remit service

Janata Bank has formally started remittance service from India following the agreement with Axis Bank of India. After the MoU with the Indian bank, Nepalese in India can send in their hard earned money to Nepal through Janata Remit or from more than 3500 strong branch network of Axis Bank.

In Nepal, the remit amount can be received from all 126 branches of the bank as well as from more than 17000 remittance agents of Samsara Remit, IPay Remit, Boom Remit, GME Remit and Sewa Remit.

The commercial bank is currently providing range of banking services from its 126 branches, 40 branchless banking units, 2 limited banking units, 2 extension counters and 71 ATM outlets throughout the nation.
