RBBL Disburses NPR 29 Million in Green Grants to Promote Energy Efficiency in Industries

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has taken a major step toward promoting sustainable industrial practices by disbursing the first round of financial grants, totaling NPR 29 million, to 10 industries that adopted energy efficiency measures identified through energy audits.

This initiative, part of the REEEP-GREEN project (jointly funded by the EU and Germany's BMZ), supports industrial energy savings and contributes to Nepal’s climate goals. The program promotes green growth, decent work, and environmental compliance. The grants are intended to incentivize wider adoption of clean technologies and build momentum for sustainable financing in Nepal’s industrial sector.
