RBB reopens regional office

KATHMANDU, AUG 2:
Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), with an objective to upgrade its banking services in Bagmati, Narayani and Sagarmatha zones, has reopened its fifth regional office at Thapathali, Kathmandu. The regional office was inaugurated by the bank’s chief executive officer Krishna Prasad Sharma. The three zones with 36 branches has 40 per cent market share, RBB said in a press note. Sharma said that the bank plans to invest Rs 10 billion in sectors including agriculture and hydropower, and collect outstanding loans worth Rs 1.5 billion in fiscal year 2012-13.
