RBB reinstates Jalbire branch

KATHMANDU,July 22 :

Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd (RBBL) has reinstated its branch office in Jalbire of Sindhupalchowk. According to a statement issued on Tuesday, local octogenarian philanthropist Ged Bahadur Thapa inaugurated the branch office amid a ceremony held last week.

The bank had merged the Jalbire branch with its Dhulikhel branch around 12 years ago citing worsening security situation. The bank said it has been expanding branch network on a war-footing to enhance people´s access to finance.
