RBB organises meet

KATHMANDU, JULY 22:
Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) organised a meet participated by the branch managers of its 21 branches in Kathmandu valley to discuss the bank’s financial undertakings to be carried out during fiscal year 2012-13, including lendings,
deposit collecting policies, implementation of guidelines framed by the central bank, and policies to be carried out by the bank to increase its business portfolio. Chief operating officer of RBB Krishna Prasad Sharma while starting the meet said that the bank was able to earn an operating profit of Rs 1.52 billion and its unpaid loans were at seven per cent during the last fiscal year. Sharma informed about the bank’s plan to provide loans amounting to Rs 4 billion to agriculture and hydropower projects in the current fiscal year.
