RBB launches new product

KATHMANDU, JAN 21: 

Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has launched a new product ‘Rastriya Sewak Karja’ targeting government officials. 

The loan service is aimed at officials of government agencies, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, local government bodies and quasi-government bodies. 

The new product can be obtained if a government official is above 21 years of age, has a minimum of five years remaining in service, and income sufficient to pay quarterly installments. 

The loan with an interest rate of 10 per cent per annum is available for a maximum of Rs 10 million or 70 per cent of salary plus facilities of five years, whichever is less.
