RBB east chief killed in mishap

SOLUKHUMBU :

Eastern regional office chief of Rashtriya Banijya Bank (RBB), Dinesh Karki, died in a jeep accident in Manebhanjyang of Okhaldhunga district on Thursday.

The jeep (Ba.4 Cha 8709) by which Karki, a resident of Baneshwor of Kathmandu, was travelling to monitor the Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu branch offices of the RBB met with accident after skidding off the road. Rajesh Pokharel and Nilraj Dhungana, account officers at the regional office of the RBB, were also injured. Chandi Bhattarai, another employee at the RBB, who was also in the jeep, was safe, according to the District Police Office of Okhaldhunga.
