Rasuwa locals receive Chilime dividends

DHUNCHE, DEC 1: 

The people of Rasuwa have been paid the dividend of the Chilime hydropower company’s share provided last year in the local level.

As it was being distributed from the capital, some of the rural people did not come into contact, and therefore, the share certificates, and dividends were distributed this year through the Janata Bank by establishing a Mobile Task Force in Dhunche, said the Citizen’s Investment Fund’s Field Manager Narayan Ghimire.

Of the seven thousand Rasuwa people who were to be distributed share certificates and dividends distributed through the Chilime Hydro Power Company, only 3,500 have come into contact until November 22-29, it is learnt.

The company had given 960,000 units of shares, which is ten percent of the total shares, to the people of Rasuwa.
