Rastriya Beema Sansthan reports Rs 1.74 crore as net profit till 2076/77; Net premium earning at Rs 4.09 arba

Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) has earned a net profit of Rs 1.74 crore till Q1 of fiscal year 2076/77. The net profit previously was Rs 44.16 lakh in the same quarter of FY 2075/76.
As per the unaudited report for the first quarter published today, the net earnings from premium rose to Rs 4.09 arba in Q1 from Rs 78.59 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
RBS has a paid-up capital of Rs 18.10 crore with a reserve of Rs 18.72 crore. Likewise, the company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs 24.39 arba from Rs 16.21 arba in the corresponding quarter.
The company has provided claims of Rs 70.48 crore and paid Rs 4.29 crore in commission to the agents. The company is 100% owned by the government and yet to float IPO to the general public.
