Rastriya Beema Sanstha reports a net profit of Rs.5.70 Crore till fourth quarter; life insurance fund stands at massive Rs.20.64 Arba

Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) has earned a net profit of Rs 5.70 crore till the month of Asadh in the Q4 of fiscal year 2075/76. The net profit previously was Rs 1.97 crore in the same quarter of FY 2074/75.

As per the unaudited report for the fourth quarter published today, the net earnings from premium rose to Rs 6.35 arba in Q4 from Rs 3.16 arba in the corresponding quarter of last year, marking a growth of more than 100%.

RBS has a paid-up capital of Rs 18.10 crore with a reserve of Rs 22.67 crore. Likewise, the company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs 20.64 arba from Rs 15.72 arba in the corresponding quarter. The company has yet to float IPO to the general public. It is wholly owned by government of Nepal.
