Rastriya Banijya Bank Promotes Financial Literacy on Global Money Week 2026
Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited organized a Smart Money Talk program at Ratna Rajyalaxmi Secondary School to mark Global Money Week 2026. The bank’s Chief Executive, Devendra Raman Khanal, emphasized the importance of financial literacy starting from the school level, teaching students how to manage money wisely and maximize its benefits.
Khanal highlighted the need for young people to be knowledgeable about financial matters, especially with growing digital challenges, and urged caution against scams via unknown calls, messages, or social media links. He also stressed that financial literacy should begin in schools and extend to households.
The event included participation from deputy executives, departmental heads, and school principals. As part of Global Money Week (March 16–22), Rastriya Banijya Bank continues to run nationwide programs to raise financial awareness and promote community engagement.
