Rastriya Banijya Bank Marks 61st Anniversary with Blood Donation and Health Camp

On the occasion of its 61st anniversary, Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited organized blood donation programmes and a free health camp on Tuesday. A total of 413 donors participated in blood donation events held at the bank’s central office in Kathmandu and various provincial offices across the country.

Additionally, a free health camp conducted at the bank’s central office in Singha Durbar Plaza provided health check-ups to 250 employees. Experienced doctors from Sumeru Hospital, Jawalakhel, offered free services including diabetes, uric acid, eye, and kidney function tests, while other examinations such as USG tests were made available at subsidized rates.

Established in 1965 as a fully government-owned bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank is entering its 61st year on Magh 10. The bank currently delivers modern banking services through a nationwide network of 313 branches, 71 extension counters, 322 ATMs, and 99 branchless banking units across all seven provinces, including remote areas.
