Rastriya Banijya Bank inks MoU with Nepal Army Welfare Fund; Army personnel to receive an affordable home loan of up to Rs 25 lakh at 3.32% interest

Rastriya Banijaya Bank and Nepal Army Welfare Fund have inked an agreement to provide affordable home loans to the participants of the fund.

The MoU was signed between the CEO of the bank Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha and the Director-General of the Army Welfare Directorate Col. Ananda Kumar Adhikary.

With this understanding, the army officials having served the Nepal Army for a minimum of ten years can now avail of affordable home loans of up to Rs 25 lakh from the bank at a competitive interest of 3.32% for a maximum of 15 years with 1 grace year for the construction of the home or the purchase of the residence, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 256 branches, 218 ATM outlets, and 98 branchless banking units under its network.
