Rastriya Banijya Bank and NTC agree to join hands; to establish new company to work for payment service provider

Rastriya Banijya Bank and Nepal Telecom have reached to an agreement to open a new company under the joint investment for “Payment Service Provider”. The agreement regarding the same was signed amid a program on Baisakh 19, 2076 by Acting CEO of the bank Mr. Kabiraj Adhikari and MD of the Telecom Mr. Dilli Ram Adhikari and was also attended by the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Following the agreement, the newly formed company will provide digital banking facility as per the guidelines and requirements of Nepal Rastra Bank.

The event was also attended by Secretary of Ministry of Information Mr. Mahendra Man Gurung, chairman of Federation of CAN Mr. Hemant Chaurasiya, head of IT branch of the bank Mr. Debesh Lohani among others.
