Rastriya Banijya Bank and National Banking Institute Sign MoU for Banking Certification Training

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBB) and National Banking Institute Limited (NBI) on Wednesday regarding the operation of a certification course in banking. The memorandum was signed by Kiran Kumar Shrestha, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, and Kumar Lamsal, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Banking Institute.

Following the agreement, in the fiscal year 2080/081, the National Banking Institute will provide banking training, including certifications from JANBI, CANBI, Moody's, and others, to a thousand employees of Rastriya Banijya Bank to enhance their competence and skills.

During the event, the CEO of the bank, Kiran Kumar Shrestha, explained that the regular training provided by the bank aims to improve the capabilities of employees and reduce risks. Kumar Lamsal, the CEO of the National Banking Institute, highlighted that the training program would contribute to the bank's productivity and growth in the banking sector.

The Deputy CEO of the bank, Saraswati Adhikari, also spoke about the program, mentioning that the bank plans to provide international-level training to its employees.

The event was attended by the bank's senior executives, including Devesh Prasad Lohani, Vinay Raman Paudel, Durga Kumari Kandel, Bhim Prasad Ghimire from the Human Resources Department, Padma Laxmi G.C. from the Planning and Development Department, along with DGM Dhan Thapa from the National Banking Institute and Educational Director Pramod Bohara, Bandana Rokka, and Samjhana Dahal.
