Rastriya Banijya Bank also joins Rastra Bank’s RTGS payment gateway service; interbank fund transfer to become easier for customers

Rastriya Banijya Bank and Nepal Rastra Bank have inked a MoU under which the commercial bank will become the new member of the Real Time Gross Settlement RTGS payment system that the central bank recently rolled out to make interbank payment for the banking customers easier and quicker.

The agreement regarding the same was signed between ED of Payment Department of NRB Mr. Bam Bahadur Mishra and CEO of RBB Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha.

Following the agreement, customers can transfer amount from their account in a member bank to another bank account in a real time just by submitting an application from any branch of the member bank, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has its presence in all 77 districts of the nation via its 236 branches, 205 ATM terminals, and 93 branchless banking units.
